Two things in today’s post, both of which are potentially free under the right circumstances.

First Circumstance: You have a subscription to Champions Online and want to keep playing that game.

According to a recent State of the Game post by Cryptic, the expansion, which was supposed to have a price attached to it, will now be free and will be called Champions Online: Revelation.

I really think this should have been the idea from the start, but at least Cryptic might get a chorus of “Thank you Cryptic!”¬† posts instead of “I hate you Cryptic” forum messages now.

Second Circumstance: You like Everquest 2 or want to play the game.

If you’re like me, and you’re itching to play EQ2 (without having to shell out money all the time), then this next one might be the perfect bit of news for you. Stargrace of has ten keys for EQ2: Sentinel’s Fate to give out to people. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the link here, wait for the announcement and, if you’re lucky, profit!
